Strange looks on the streets of Balti

Daybreak. Stretch out. Shoes on.
Its good to breath the outside air.

Rough roads; better watch my step.
Stray dogs, wandering across the street.
No road signs; better keep a straight line.

A man on the corner, smoking
A woman with her children, walking
A group of young men, talking

A bus stop. A waiting crowd.
They look, they stare.
What is this strange sight that moves through the air?

Lungs fill, heart beats, pace quickens.
Life feels good on the streets of Balti.
