I am a pastor, a husband and a father of four adult children. I was wondrously saved at the 19 from a life of brokenness and bondage to sin and self. Jesus set me free from all that for which I am eternally grateful. My life is no longer my own, but his to be used for his purpose and glory.
Here’s a picture with my wife Francelle, a great woman of God who shares a similar passion for Christ and the gospel. She’s a faithful and devoted mother and a great discipler of woman. Oh, and in her spare time she teaches kids in a primary school here in New Zealand.
In between pastoring and raising a family I’m also learning Russian. I know – I must be crazy. It all began when on a mission’s trip with SGA to the Ukraine a number of years ago. God gave me a great love for the people and the language. It’s likely I’ll be heading away on a few trips to that area of the world in the future. That was part of the impetus for this blog; to record for those who might be interested just what the Lord is teaching me.
Thanks Peter for those great words of wisdom for all people. From Colin Hanlon (Martha’s son – from WEBC).
